The prime minister said the current Indian regime is a follower of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a hatred and supremacist ideology. He said the West will have to understand the philosophy of the RSS in order to think clearly of this problem, which led to the carnage of the Muslims in Gujarat earlier. The premier reminded the world that we are talking of a country of one billion people, with nuclear weapons taken over by extreme ideology and philosophy. He urged the American Muslims to raise awareness about this  critical situation in the  region.

PM Imran urges world to take notice of reports on Modi govt's ethnic cleansing of Muslims

Islamabad: Modi government's ethnic cleansing of Muslims should send alarm bells ringing across the world that the illegal annexation of Kashmir is part of a wider policy to target Muslims, Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Saturday. He was reacting to reports in Indian and international media that  Narendra Modi government plans to strip millions of Muslims of their Indian citizenship. "Reports in Indian and international media on Modi Govt's ethnic cleansing of Muslims should send alarm bells ringing across the world that the illegal annexation of Kashmir is part of a wider policy to target Muslims," he said on Twitter.According to reports, Indian Home Minister Amit Shah will be releasing a controversial list that will strip four million people — majority of them Muslims — of their Indian citizenship in Assam. The final version of the controversial list called the National Register of Citizens is the result of a six-year effort to ostensibly catalogue all the legal residents of the northeastern state of Assam, but the list has been mired in controversy. The last time a draft was released, in 2018, 4.1 million people were left off, putting them at risk of being made stateless. Many of them were poor, illiterate and/or members of the Muslim minority.Observers are worried that the final list will result in families being split up, incarcerated, and even being chased out to Bangladesh — a country many have never set foot in. And rights groups are worried that the list could set off a chain of events similar to the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar in 2017, when roughly 750,000 members of the Muslim Rohingya minority were persecuted, stripped of their Burmese citizenship and forced to flee to Bangladesh.

Friday Faves

Hellooooo. Happy Friday to ya! What’s going on this weekend? Today is my dad’s bday, so we’re looking forward to celebrating with the fam tonight. We’re going to catch a Phoenix staycation with friends and possibly see a movie later this weekend. I feel like the week is a frantic rush and the weekends always feel like a nice treat to slow down a tiny bit. I’d love to hear what you have going on!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite reads, eats, wears, and finds from the week. I always love to hear what you’re enjoying, too, so please shout out a fave in the comments section below.

ACS 0484

(Pic from a brunch date with the Pilot. It was my first time trying the chickpea scramble at Prep & Pastry, and it was amaaaazing.)

Good eats:

– I picked up this pretty new juicer on Facebook marketplace. We gave our old Jack LaLanne juicer to my brother when we moved to Tucson – it was a hand-me-down from Heather that lasted about 9 years! – and since then, I’ve been purchasing cold-pressed bottled juices or fresh ones from Whole Foods. I’m starting to get back into juicing, especially with the ol’ GB situation, so I scoured marketplace and got this one new, in the box, for less than half of the cost to order one online. Winner, winner.

Juicer

The biggest fans of the juicer? The girls! They are absolutely obsessed with it. When I brought it inside after picking it up, they immediately rummaged through the produce drawers, choosing fruits and veggies for their respective juices. They had an apple, orange, carrot, and cucumber mix and lost their little minds. So now of course, after school, they request fresh juice. 😉

Fashion + beauty:

Sephora sale goodies! These are the things I ordered during the recent Sephora sale: this tinted BB cream (it’s very matte so i mix it with the Dew skin, which tends to be kind of shiny), my fave eyeliner and mascara, and these tanning drops. The reviews were excellent and they’re vegan, cruelty-free, and made with clean ingredients, so I’m excited to see how they work. You mix 4-12 drops with your lotion for each body part and just make sure to wash your hands well afterwards. I just used them for the first time last night and will report back!

Stop believing that “when I have this I will BE this”

Stop believing that “when I have this I will BE this”Stop believing that “when I have this I will BE this” with Natalie Jill

Do you think these things?

When I have money I’ll be…
When I get fit I will be…
When I get married I’ll be…
When my business is successful I will be…
When I get that client I’ll be…

Your thinking this way is why you do not have it and you won’t ever “be it”.

You are working backwards. Start from where you WANT TO GO.

BE first then DO this then you will HAVE

How do you do this?

Get in the frame and FORCE THE VISION!

Here is HOW:
Create a space for peace and time to think. This can be walking by yourself, sitting quietly, lying down (this part doesn’t matter)

Imagine you already have what it is you want and are waiting for.

What does it feel like?
What does it look like?
How do you spend your time when there?
What do you eat? Drink? As that person?
What are your hobbies as this person?
What choices and decisions does that person make?

Ok… got it? Now here is the part you get to commit to:

Go about your day , your week, your month as THAT person.

Make decisions and choices from THAT PLACE!

If your brain is giving you reasons why you can’t do this then you won’t. Stop being the type of person that does that. If that’s you, Repeat the assignment a million times If you have to 😊

This is supposed to be uncomfortable.

This is supposed to challenge you.

DECIDE to do it anyways.
Let go of your stories and feelings around it.

YOU ARE NOT TOO OLD AND IT IS NOT TOO LATE!

XO,

Natalie Jill

27 years between these photos

27 years between these photos. I’m always preaching that we are “not too old and not too late” AND here is what I still want 20 year old me to know:

27 years between these photos.

Dear 20 year old me…

First of all: Don’t worry flat irons are being invented (soon!)

Stop TANNING! I know its “cool and trendy now” but spots and wrinkles in your 40’s will never forgive you.

27 years between these photos with Natalie Jill

Love and appreciate dad now. He is about to leave this earth for good.

Don’t rely on college to create a future for you. You will never ever use high level algebra again. I swear.

Stop wearing heels every dang day. Your back will not be happy in 25 years.

Enjoy the space to be “bored” “day dream” and “deeply connect with people” because pagers, and then cell phones are about to ruin this for you and others forever.

Keep those high wasted jeans and scrunchies. They will be back in style in 25 years! Strange I know 😂

Stop waxing your eyebrows. The messy ones are coming back in.

Fat free gummy bears are not “good for you” because they are “fat free” you’ll see…

Stop being so critical of yourself. And surprise you will have a daughter that looks and acts just like you one day.

Occupied Kashmir issue an unfinished agenda of subcontinent's division: AJK PM

MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu & Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said Kashmir issue was an unfinished agenda of the division of the subcontinent which would have to be settled in accordance with the UN Security Council’s resolutions and aspirations of people of the disputed Jammu & Kashmir State. He was addressing a reception given in his honor by a Pakistani expatriate leader Irfan ul Hassan Chaudhary in American city of Rhode Island, said a message released to the media here Thursday night. The prime minister said that Indian unilateral act of changing the status of disputed state was a sheer violation of UNSC resolutions, all international conventions and bilateral agreements.“India will be given a befitting response for its constitutional terrorism. It couldn’t grab the fundamental rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir”, Farooq added. He further said that India by revoking article 370 had even lost its false claim over Occupied Kashmir and now its presence in the region was nothing but just an illegal occupant force.Referring to the deteriorating human rights situation in the Occupied Valley, the premier added that Kashmir had virtually become prison where curfew was imposed for an indefinite time.People were being picked up from their houses late night and shifted in the Indian torture cells outside the state.“Eight million people were besieged in their houses and disconnected from the world. They do not have access to food and medicines," Haider said. The premier told that people of Occupied Kashmir were struggling for their UN acknowledged right to self determination while India was trying to suppress their indigenous liberation movement. While mentioning the mediation offer by US President Trump, he said that both Pakistan and Kashmiris have welcomed the gesture but India negated it and later altered the status of disputed state.“Indian attitude pushing region towards instability and world bodies must take immediate notice of it too."He appealed to the peace loving countries of the world to also take notice of Indian defense minister’s irresponsible and provocative statement. The prime minister urged the Pakistani Kashmiri Americans to get involved to support the cause by raising strong voice for the rights of oppressed people to garner international support.“We will perish or we will free ourselves from Indian occupation,” he concluded.

Murad hints at launching operation against bandits involved in kidnapping for ransom

KARACHI:  Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has decided to conduct a ruthless and vigorous operation against bandits in slum areas of Sukkur and Larkana division where the cases of kidnapping for ransom are on the rise.He took this decision on Thursday while going through police reports filed in his secretariat and calling Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah and Home Secretary Kazi Kabir to discuss the proposed operation with them, directing them to summon a law and order meeting so that the planning and strategy for the operation could be finalized. The chief minister said that kidnapping for ransom was a heinous crime and could not be tolerated. In the slums of Larkana, Sukkur, Khairpur up to Nawabshah, some bandits have established their hideouts and through the outlaws operating in the cities, were engaged in kidnapping innocent people, he said.He said that operation would not confine to the slums from Shaheed Benazirabad to Kashmore but it would be directed towards the facilitators of dacoits. Through the operation all the history-sheeter, head money bearer and other outlaws would be directed, he said. The chief minister said that he was convening a high-level law and order meeting within the next few days to finalize strategy for the proposed operation in consultation with IG Police and other concerned officers. The chief minister has already directed IG Police to recover the kidnapped people from the clutches of the dacoits. “I would not tolerate emergence of dacoit factor in the province once again,” he said. Shah said that the law and order all over Sindh was satisfactory but the newly emerged issue of kidnapping for ransom and street crime in Karachi has become a new challenge. The Additional IG Karachi was working to crush street criminals while the operation against bandits in Northern and Central parts of Sindh was need of hour. The targeted operation launched against drug peddlers, terrorists and other outlaws is going on successfully in which police, rangers and intelligence agencies are working hard, the chief minister said and added that a similar operation was on the cards against dacoits in slums. De-watering and Fumigation: The chief minister has directed Commissioner Karachi to keep an on eye on low lying areas where rain water has accumulated and get it de-watered at the earliest. He also directed the commissioner to start fumigation in the city. The cleaning of nalas and leaving their garbage along the roads have produced flies and mosquitoes in the city. “This is bound to spared diseases, therefore it must be controlled by launching fumigation drive,” he said. MD water board through a report told the chief minister that suction machine mounted on a truck was installed at Shahrah-e-Faisal at Gora Kabristan and pumped out water accumulated there. Another such vehicle drained out water from the main road at JPMC.Weather warning: The rehabilitation department has issued a weather warning on Thursday which say that the regional Met Center Karachi has issued weather warnings and has forecasted that the prevailing spell of rain in Sindh is very likely to intensify in next 24 hour, producing moderate to heavy rains in Sindh particularly in Karachi, Thatta, Jasmhoro, dadu, Kambar-Shahdadkot, Naushehroferoze, badin, sanghar and Larkana Districts during Thursday evening to Friday evening.Karachi: The weather warning said that in Karachi due to heavy rainfall in the range between 50 to 70 mm (during 1600/Thu-1200PST/Friday) the situation of urban flooding in Karachi may further be aggravated on Friday.
